Case History
This charity shop is situated in the small town of Bicester, Oxfordshire. The building was once a confectionery shop and was bought by the British Heart Foundation around 20 years ago.

It is a small location, and for years there have been rumours that a little girl called 'Sicily' haunts the upstairs floors. Historical records reveal that she once lived and died in the building many years ago, and recently staff have experienced chairs being moved and re-positioned upon desks located in the office upstairs. The chair is always placed under the desk each evening before the building is left empty. Lights have been found switched on by staff opening up the shop in the morning when they are positive that they were switched off before leaving the night before.
On one occasion a large figurine depicting a dog was apparently thrown off the top of a large cabinet and smashed to the floor. About 6 weeks ago a member of the shop staff was coming into work when she looked up at the top floor window and saw something that truly terrified her.
“I glanced up at the top window, I’m not sure why I did, but I saw what seemed to be a thick fog or a mist inside the room. It didn’t seem to have any form to it but it was there as clear as day. I went into the shop and told the others what I had just seen but we didn’t dare go up to the top floor to check”
Doors on the top floor of the building seem to close by themselves, and lights have been switched on and off while members were working in the shop by unseen forces.
The upper floors to this building have a very heavy feeling to them and most of the staff that work at the shop experience breathlessness, and the feeling of being watched when upstairs.

The upper floor of this charity shop consists of three rooms. One is the office and the other two are storerooms.
