The The G.P.S team investigated a haunted family residence on the 14th June 2008. The investigation was led by G.P.S Lead Investigator Barri Ghai and the UK team.
Case History:
Subject A contacted us to say that her Aunt needs our help. There is intense paranormal activity in her home and this has intensified over the last 3 weeks. Her 4 year old daughter, will not sleep in her bedroom anymore or play on her own.
She has said that there is a dark shadow of a man that looks like a scarecrow and several children that are scaring her in the home. Activity is occuring at all times of the day and includes: voices, footsteps, bangs, cold spots, poltergeist activity, shadow's and apparitions. These phenomena have been witnessed by all members of the household.
Email excerpt from Subject A:
"...You can feel that there are spirit in the house, my niece is really affected by this and so is my aunt, the 4 year olds body actions speak louder than words, her whole body tenses up and she goes pale white and cry’s. I have never seen something so worrying, when my niece looks at the spirit she is looking right in its eyes, it’s amazing. The amount of paranormal activity is strong in that house, the other day me and my aunt was having a cup of tea and a chat about the stuff my niece has been seeing and her porcelain doll come flying of the shelf. It didn’t fall it was thrown and it did scare us. my neice will be fine one minute and then be petrified and scream mummy mummy! she is back..."
Investigation Plan:
We will be recording video, audio and taking readings with EMF detectors, and digital thermometers. All evidence will be looked at after the investigation has occurred. Once we have analysed all evidence we will visit again to explain our findings. If we conclude that they do have a genuine paranormal case, and wish to remove the unwanted guest(s) from their home, we will attend again with aqualified psychic medium, She will conduct a ritual to allow the spirits to communicate with her and possibly a small group. This will help her to expel them from the home and allow them to move on.

Laura Chalmers, Simon Buckle, and myself met at the property in S.East London at 5pm on the 14th June 2008.
Upon entering the home, Laura and I were immediately hit with an uncomfortable oppressive energy which seemed to be watching us from the stairs and landing area. We knew it would be an eventful evening.
After briefing the clients over a nice cup of tea, we were shown around the home by it's owners. Myself and Laura took our digital cameras with us to document the premises and get a feel for the place.
The following photos were taken at around 6pm:
Simon and I began taking base readings of the house using an EMF detector, and Infra-red non contact lazer thermometer, The results were as follows:
Outside temperature: 19 degrees Celsius.
Inside temperature: Remained constant between 20 and 22 degrees Celcius.
EMF readings: Were taken in each room of the house, and varied between 0.5 Mg and 1.0 Mg.
These reading were taken with all electrical equiptment and light turned off or unplugged.
We decided to locate the two infra-red wired cameras in two areas of the house. The first was situated outside the ground floor play room looking into the room with a wide angle. The second was facing into the child's bedroom at the back of the house on the first floor. The posiions of these cameras was decided after consulting with the owners about the areas of the house that they have experienced the most paranormal activity.
The final camera was the wireless infra-red head cam which Simon wore during most of the night's investigation.
Whilst we were seting up the equiptment, the family owner indicated that he felt an intense cold sensation around him and was feeling strange. I took this photograph and was surprised by the result. It showes a large black shadow looming over him and an orb above his right knee. EMF reading were normal and temperature remained constant at 21 degrees.
At around 7.30pm I decided to walk around the upstairs of the house alone to take some digital cameras and also to place one digital voice recorder in the child's bedroom.
Upon entering the bedroom, I felt a cold spot by the doorway but the temperature seemed to remain constant at 21 degrees. I took several photos using a Samsung D85 8.2 Mega Pixel digital camera using the double flash for low light conditions. These are some of the images captured at the time:
EVP's
The first EVP experiment took place in the child's bedroom with myself and Simon Buckle. I asked several questions directed at all spirits that may have been present at the time. This EVP had no audible responses.
We had also set up a beam barrier alarm in the doorway to the child's bedroom. The alarm was set to chime if the beam was broken by anything passing through the doorway to her room.
During one of the EVP sessions, Laura Chalmers and the client were recording in the bedroom with the rest of the household and team stationed in the living room area of the house.
About half way through the recording, the beam was broken and the chime alarm went off signalling that something had either entered the room or had left. I moved quickly up the stairs and into the landing area outside to take a photograph, and as I did so the chime went off again. I saw nothing out of the ordinary and caught nothing on camera. The DVR camera stationed outside the doorway to her room did not record anything moving through the beam to cause it to go off.
If you look at Camera 1 you will see a very large white glowing light anomoly streak passed at around 3 seconds, followed by a larger one. Unfortunately we have not embeded the sound on this yet. The moment when the beam barrier alarm goes off during an EVP session is (2:38). The light on the right unit goes out in the video signalling that it has been broken.
Alarms...
At around 12:00 am, two of the clients stationed themselves in the downstairs play room. One of the Infra-red wired cameras had been recording in this room throughout the whole investigation. It recorded this next event and will be available to view here soon.
They began asking questions aloud and asked the spirits present to make a sound or do something to show they were there. As soon as they asked the first question, the motion sensor alarm attached to the stationery headcam went off.
All team members and occupants of the house were accounted for at the time, and I began recording with a video camera in the hallway. The clients continued to ask questions and felt they needed to direct questions to their deceased 'Grandfather'. The motion alarm continued to sound in direct response to their questions. The activity lasted some 15 minutes, and was partially caught on one of the voice recorders left recording in the room, and by video on the wired camera and on a digital camcorder. The whole incident was very starnge and unsettling for all.
The headcam that was triggered to sound the alarm was completely motionless at the time, and we could find no faults. After checking the connection and sensitivity of the camera, we concluded that this was not a technical fault or made by any one of the night's party.
The video evidence of this will follow shortly and is well worth the wait...
Conclusion:
This family home is in our opinion active with paranormal activity. We caught several orb anomalies in photographs using various digital cameras throughout the night.
Although orbs can not constitute the presence of paranormal activity alone, coupled with the EVP recordings, video evidence, strange sounds, and feelings felt by all, G.P.S beleive that this Plumstead home is definitely haunted.
The family have informed us that they would like to get rid of whatever is haunting their home and troubling their daughter. We have consulted with a psychic medium, who has agreed to assist the family and visit them soon to conduct a clearing ritual, and release the troubled spirits.
