Bodmin Jail - Charity Event - 19th March 2011

Bodmin Jail Ghosthunt

This event has helped raise over £1,000 for the charity Help for Heroes. Congratulations to all the teams that took part for their amazing commitment and effort to achieve this, and a BIG thank you to Lesley Smith for attending this event as our very special guest and historian.

If you would like to make a donation to the charity please follow this link: Help for Heroes. Every little donation helps so please spare a few minutes and a few pounds to make a difference to help those who have been wounded in Britain's current conflicts.

Here are just a few photos of the teams that attended this event from 10pm until 7am on Saturday 19th March 2011.

The jail dates back to the mid 16th century and certainly has had a checkered past. The last hanging was held there in 1909 before closing its doors to prisoners in 1927.
